The Fields Clubhouse features an array of arched forms - a simple shape pulled, pushed, blown up, scaled down and interpreted in a variety of materials, each performing a distinct function in the space.
See them here as large wooden portals leading you into the games zone on the 1st floor.

Sometimes, like in the case of the outdoor seating @thirdwaveroasters, patterned tiles can be used to achieve minor optical illusions that widen or elongate a space. You’d be surprised by how compact this verandah actually is! But this cozy space is always a crowd favourite.

#TrueStory - The crèche at Fields Clubhouse is decidedly a kid’s only space. It was this decision that determined one of the more nondescript elements of the space- the height of the door. We dropped it so low that any adult walking into the creche would have to bend to enter.
We live for these little details and they are, we believe, the key to bringing joy to the experience of any space.

This was @thirdwaveroasters very first tryst with colour in any of their spaces. For us, it was a leap of faith. Inspired by the beautifully balanced colour palette in Third Wave’s brand graphics designed by the super talented @ladyfingersco_ ,we began colouring in different elements of each cafe; trying to strike the same balance, towing that fine line between quirk and kitsch.
